Terms and Conditions
Price list (all prices include stud fees and booking fees):
Failure to comply with Trevoulter Barton Stud Terms and Conditions may result in the retention of covering certificates.
***Please ensure that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions before you proceed with your order***
- Booking Fee £100 (non-returnable), all the above amounts (except frozen semen)
- Collection and dispatch £125.00
- The stud fee must be paid in full, the Nomination Form and Terms & Conditions be completed and received by Trevoulter Barton Stud before the semen dispatched.
- In the case of fresh or chilled semen, if the mare is not in foal at the 1st October, there will be a free return for the following season, following payment of a further booking fee of £100 for that season.

Transported semen terms and conditions
In order to obtain health papers,
Orders MUST be placed BEFORE 10.00am for semen to be delivered the following day (Excluding Sunday and Monday deliveries)
Please contact us as soon as your mare is coming into season as this gives us advance notice!
Please note:
Please note that if due to unforeseen circumstance your chosen stallion is not available at the time of ordering, we are able to offer an alternative stallion with the same stud fee to the one ordered.
Mares inseminated for the first time after 1st July who do not conceive in that current year will be able to re-AI their mare in the following year for the collection, courier & health paper charges only. If the stallion is not available the following year we reserve the right to transfer the covering to an alternative Trevoulter Barton Stud stallion of the same stud fee.
In the case of fresh or chilled semen, if the mare is not in foal at the 1st October, 50% of the stud fee, excluding the £100 booking fee which is non returnable, will be returned on receipt of a veterinary certificate confirming that the mare is not in foal. Alternatively, there will be a free return for the following season, following payment of a further booking fee of £100 for that season.
Frozen Semen:
Payment:
Trevoulter Barton Stud cannot take any responsibility for the semen once it has been dispatched. The semen is the responsibility of the relevant carrier whilst in transport, and the responsibility of the vet or person to whom the semen has been delivered to on arrival. Goods remain the property of Trevoulter Barton Stud until paid in full.

Please note:
- Chilled semen delivery is available Tuesday to Saturday, via Royal Mail.
- Mares can be inseminated off-site at a fee of £75 per mare plus travelling expenses @ £1.25 per mile one way.
- The first £100 of each semen fee is regarded as a booking fee and is non-returnable.

Frozen Semen:
- Frozen semen is supplied on a stud fee basis for one pregnancy, shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. Unused semen MUST BE RETURNED at purchaser's expense in standard post.
- Some stallions may not be available due to competition or performance test or other commitments; we will endeavour to meet your needs, but cannot always guarantee stallions availability.
- Semen is stored at TBS, unused semen MUST BE RETURNED at purchaser's expense in standard post
- All TBS Stallions are CEM and WFFS tested
Trevoulter Barton Stud Reserve the right to refund 50% of the stud fee less the booking fee should your mare not in be foal.
Payment:
- Full payment of stud fee and courier costs MUST be made before shipment of semen can be dispatched.

- Bank Transfer: Please use your surname and stallions initials for reference. For Bank Details please email us here
