His Sire AK LOCARNO 62 broke all records as a 5 yr old when he was sold through the sale ring in Germany for a staggering 1 million euros. Since then he has proved to be a world-class performer for Ellen Whitaker with over £180,000 in winnings, and his consistency and versatility speak for themselves. His greatest achievement amongst many were his 2nd place in the Hickstead Derby and also representing GB in numerous Nations Cup teams. In 2007 he was a crucial part of the team at the Europeans helping GB clinch the Bronze medal in Mannheim. Locarno is also proving a successful sire with his foals selling for in excess of £10,000 and other progeny now successfully competing in showjumping. He is also sire of Abuzu, AES-graded stallion.
