Bloodline
In any stallions pedigree, PERFORMANCE and PROGENY says it all…
Fourwinds Gethin’s pedigree includes many outstanding names:
- SYNOD WILLIAM, sire of Synod Magnus the British Breeding/Ponies UK Top British-bred Dressage Pony of 2007

- LYN CWMCOED, who features in the pedigree of SAKAMA CHEZIN, the British Breeding/Ponies UK Top British-bred Showjumping Pony of 2006
- LEYESWICK FLYER a proven source of outstanding movement in many Sections Cs, Ds and part-breeds

-
MENAI FURY one of theoutstanding pony sires of the Twentieth Century.
Being almost completely FREE of DERWEN and BRENIN bloodlines, he would be an excellent outcross for mares from these lines. Many of his close relatives have been exported to Sweden, France, The Netherlands and the USA as foundation breeding stock. The Fourwinds Stud is known Internationally for combining great riding qualities with super quality and type.

Performance
Despite his youth FOURWINDS GETHIN has already achieved some remarkable results. At his SPSS grading he scored:
- A remarkable 18/20 for his extremely good temperament
-
A mark of 8.5 out of 10 for general impression and two marks of 8 out of 10 for paces. In doing this he also became:
- The youngest ever native breed pony stallion to be graded by the SPSS
-
The highest ever scoring British bred palomino pony graded with the SPSS
Fourwinds Gethin showed his good temperament and all-round ability by launching his competitive career under saddle in the summer of 2010, in the midst of a busy stud season. Even so he was regularly placed in both combined training and dressage and he has already qualified for
· Second round Trailblazers Combined Training
· National Pony Society Dressage Championships to be held at Addington in April 2011
both of which he did first time out with a novice rider in these hotly contested competition series.
In 2012 he successfully qualifed for the David Broomes Winter League Dressage Finals in and NPS Qualifier in his first competition in 2012!!
