Description 

The Best of Both Worlds - By the Hanoverian Stallion Dimaggio who was World Champion (WBFSH) Five Year Old and carries the blood of the great Don Primero. A highly successful sire in Germany, he produced many top priced auction horses and licensed sons. Del Amitri’s dam, Happy Girl (KWPN) is a daughter of Olympic Cocktail who was ridden to International success by Anky van Grunsven on the winning Dutch teams. Handsome is as handsome does and Del Amitri has not disappointed with his progeny. From his first crop of foals we saw two colts in the Top Ten of the Amlin Foal Championship in 2005. In 2007, his son, GF D'kota was Graded as a Stallion with BWBS. In 2008, his three year old daughter, Woodlander Donna Summer was Champion Dressage Three Year Old and a First Elite choice for the Futurity Judges and Carl Hester. In 2009, Woodlander Daddy Cool qualified for Badminton and Shearwater Young Dressage Horse Championships with convincing scores. In 2012, his offspring scored consistently over 70% and he himself progresses his training to the higher levels, returning to his competitive career at Medium level in 2013 and posting scores in excess of 70%.
